2016 FJR1300 Tank Protector

I had already got Expanded Tank Bag Kit installed on my FJR1300 and decided to add the side protection too after noticing scratches on paint where the knees press into the tank. Installation wasn't too difficult, I like the kit. The only complain is that I had to cut a strip of film the back and bottom of the side pieces - otherwise they were either overlapping the tankbag kit, or sticking a little below the tank. I suppose I could've removed that wrap-around plastic piece from the bottom of the tank and press the film down around the bend, but I decided that trimming a quarter-inch or so off the film is easier.

I agree with what the first reviewer said. I just wish that they sold the center piece separately because that's all that I use and they do show signs of wear after awhile. I don't use the side pieces.

Great protection

The tank protectors really do a great job of protecting the tank while still allowing you to see the paint. The only drawback is that it is impossible to get out every speck of dust, even with the squeegee, although it does help.
