   Ordered the R1200RT 4 PIECE SIDE CASE PROTECTION KIT in Expel Ultimate film. Application was a breeze and the result is professional looking. Shipping was fast ! very happy with the product and experience.

   Not only is it hard to see this film on my bike, it is durable.
   I unfortunately knocked the bike over and it fell on the side case. all the scuffs and gouges were in the film. The paint was saved! Not only would I buy this again, but I DID buy it again!

   i am no pro at putting on this kind of film. I have done it once or twice with ~ok results in the past. Watching the video on this site and following the directions I was able to apply these with excellent results. Don't be afraid to pull it up and start over. Pulling it tight over the curves really helps. I can't tell it is on, especially with my matte finish paint.

   Fairly easy to install with the addition of heat for the tough bends. I did have to trim a little due to stretching.

   Was pleased with how easy this was to install after watching install videos.
   For the price would have liked to receive a squeegee with the film.

   It looked more than i wanted to handle without screwing up the install. i found a local dealer and he did it in one day and did a nice job. the mentioned that they had to have training to be a dealer and it needed to be installed by a dealer for warranty. Its very clear we will see how well it works and how long. Tankslapper was very helpful and friendly on the phone

   I purchased the Scotchgard Pro. Watched the video, read the directions. Took my time. I found that once you get a side where you want it and the water is squeezed out and wiped with a paper towel or cloth, it becomes an anchor point allowing you to more easily pull the film where you need it. Over all it seems to have gone on as described. We'll see what happens over time. For the area I wanted on the bags, this saved me about $150 over a pro doing it. The file was very thick, more than I was expecting and once installed, you can't see it's there unless you get really, really close, this stuff is amazing.

   This was my first attempt so I was pleased that, with some patience, the film went on relatively easily even over complex curves. The day after application I noticed some small bubbles missed during the installation but these disappeared themselves over a few weeks so the finish now almost flawless . Not sure whether the type of film matters (used 3M Scotchgard (Gloss)) but would use the same film based on application and results. The pieces were perfectly cut.

10. Easier than I thought!

    I had some questions on the different films and called the company. Very friendly and helpful support. I ordered the XPEL Ultimate kit Tuesday afternoon and had it in my mailbox Thursday. Not sure how they got the Post Office to get it from California to Minnesota that quick! Finally worked up the courage to start, and about 30 minutes later I was done and said to myself "that was easy". Looks great. I would post pictures but you can't see it!
