I'm using the 3M film on 11 year old R1200RT. I installed tanksplapper film on the bike when it was brand new and it yellowed just a little bit, but the film has worked like it is supposed to by saving the paint. I have now buffed all of the paint work and installed the 3M film...the bike looks like it is brand new. One tip/reminder...make sure you wipe off every spec of dust before applying the film, if you don't, anything on the surface will be visible through the film. Overall this is an excellent product!
