    I picked up a 3’x24” section to practice up a bit with installation. My intentions were the top of my tank and airbox cover so my tank bag doesn’t scuff the finish. This stuff is amazing and you can’t even tell it’s there. Tankslapper was fast to ship and over all at a great price.

    Originally bought the Scotchgard Pro film CROSS COUNTRY TOUR TOTAL PROTECTION KIT. I did not use the practice piece as instructed and did my test run with the most difficult kit piece, front fender part, which took me a while and showed my stretching. I was able to put on the rest without issue. I purchased the bulk to add to protect the LED headlight I installed, as well as replace the front fender piece I messed up. I did call after total install for help in removing my first front fender attempt, and I was provided instruction. As long as the surface is perfectly clean (no dust) this film is hard to see on the gloss black in the sun and invisible if a wax is applied after!!! The film areas do not let the dust and dirt slide off from rain as much as a smooth painted surface does, but it is worth it especially protecting the top of my saddle bags from unintentional boot drags. I did have one scuff that was hidden after installing the film over one bag, so this could be used to reduce existing blemishes.
